The group is currently developing on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard in Bantry Bay, Fresnaye and Clifton, at Beachy Head in Plettenberg Bay, and on the Art Mile in Rosebank, Johannesburg, where a landmark hotel is under development. Svelte Bespoke won Best Residential Development South Africa 2023/2024 at the International Property Awards for Le Béton, its luxury development in Bantry Bay.
Andrew Watson, Founder and Executive Director
Andrew Watson founded Svelte Bespoke and leads it as Executive Director. He has spent more than 25 years developing, designing and delivering luxury residential property, and he directs the architectural brief, the interiors and the construction of every Svelte project from site acquisition to handover.
Under his direction, Le Béton in Bantry Bay won Best Residential Development South Africa 2023/2024 at the International Property Awards.
Before Svelte, he designed and developed Redhill in Morningside, Johannesburg, completed in 2007 and his own home until 2015. Redhill won Best Property South Africa at the 2008 African Property Awards, in association with CNBC, and was the cover and feature of Top Billing magazine in April 2008.
The group is now developing on Victoria Road in Clifton, at Beachy Head in Plettenberg Bay, and on the Rosebank Art Mile in Johannesburg, where a 170 key hotel is in design with Tristan du Plessis.
